Guided Camp Options Customize your hunt for your group! If your group provides all gear and food you can have a fully guided hunt at a huge reduction in price! A guide ratio of 1 on 1 to 1 guide per group is available. Our success in these camps is very high because of our guides' knowledge of the area. All guides have at least 15 years hunting in these units. The higher price range listed is for those groups that want everything provided on their hunt including all camp equipment and food. Cost varies per person depending on the unit hunted and the number of hunters per group. Hunts vary from 2-7 days in length. Extra days available on some hunts.
Drop Camps This is the ideal hunt for the experienced hunter who does not require a guide or cook. We can provide you with all the gear for your group to have a comfortable stay in the back country. Our supplied drop camps can include wall tents with internal aluminum frame propane cook stove and lights, woodstove and pre-cut firewood and cots. The lower price range listed is for those groups that already have their own equipment. Each person is allowed one pack animal which carries 125 lbs. Extra pack animals may be available for $100 each. Riding animals cost $150 each day. After packing your gear in we will familiarize you with the hunting area. At the end of the hunt, we’ll pack everything out, including any meat at no additional charge.

HUNT BOOKING POLICY A 50% deposit is required to reserve a hunt with Outback Outfitters. If you are unsuccessful drawing a tag, your deposit will be credited to the following year. Balance is due 60 days prior to trip’s starting date. Riders over 200 lbs. or who are heavy for their height need to be approved before booking. *Deposits are non-refundable once you have drawn a tag. Outback Outfitters and Consultants, LLC is fully insured and bonded, and operates under permits issued by the Wallowa-Whitman and Umatilla National Forest.
